The Thor hardwood mallets hav a laminated cylindrical compressed wood heads (to a density of 1.3) fitted with flushed-in glass fibre hoops for extra security. The mallets have a conical self-locking handle and come in 3 different weights. These have an excellent resistance to impact and will give a long service life they are suitable for hot work applications. Typical uses for these mallets include steel plate trade casting schools and technical colleges general assembly aluminium forming aviation etc. Weight: 750 g. (1 3/4lb). Diameter: 67 mm.
